Pakistan national cricket team set off for India on Wednesday to participate in the highly-anticipated ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup 2023.
Departing from Lahore airport at 3:20 am, the team is scheduled for a brief stopover in Dubai before making their way to the vibrant city of Hyderabad in India.
The team, warmly known as the ‘greens,’ is set to touch down in Hyderabad at 8:15 pm on September 27, (Today) marking the beginning of their campaign in the prestigious tournament.
A day prior to their departure, Babar Azam, expressed high hopes for a strong team performance in the ICC Men’s World Cup.
The morale of the team is high, and we are very confident. The top four is a small goal. We want to come back as winners,” he confidently stated during a press conference held at the Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore.
