On Wednesday, numerous flights scheduled to depart from Karachi were abruptly canceled, causing significant inconvenience and confusion for many travelers.
The cancellations affected various domestic and international routes, leaving passengers stranded and scrambling to find alternatives.
Among the affected flights were Serene Air’s ER 503 to Islamabad and AirSial’s flights PF 122 and PF 126, also to Islamabad.
International travelers experienced disruption with the cancellation of Serene Air’s ER 822 to Jeddah. Additionally, Serene Air’s domestic flights ER 523 to Lahore and PK 551 to Peshawar were grounded.
Another major international route impacted was Thai Airways’ TG 341 flight to Bangkok.
The sudden cancellations have left many passengers in limbo, with airport authorities urging affected individuals to contact their respective airlines for updates and rebooking options. However, the high volume of cancellations may result in delays and limited availability of alternative flights.
