KARACHI – The city of Karachi is bracing for continued intense heat over the next three days, following a day of above-normal temperatures due to the cessation of the sea breeze.

The Edhi Foundation has reported receiving 300 bodies over the past three days, attributing most of these deaths to heatstroke.

In response to the extreme heat, the Pakistan Meteorological Department has provided guidelines to help residents cope with the heat waves.
