Dealers also noted an increase in the price of 10 grams of 24-karat gold, which went up by Rs686 to trade at Rs206,477. In contrast, the price of 10 grams of 22-karat gold decreased, now trading at Rs189,243.

These price fluctuations are closely tied to changes in the value of the US Dollar, highlighting the significant impact of currency values on gold prices. This relationship underscores the broader influence of global economic factors on local gold markets. Meanwhile, the price of 24-karat silver remained stable at Rs2,800. On the international front, gold prices also rose by $10, reaching $2,343 per ounce.

It’s important to note that gold rates in Pakistan can vary significantly throughout the day due to global market trends. The provided gold rates are sourced from reputable dealers, primarily based in Karachi and Multan.

For the most current and accurate information on gold prices, individuals are advised to consult local gold merchants and jewellers.
