In the upper regions of Pakistan, cloudy weather is on the horizon, with the likelihood of rain, strong winds, thunderstorms, and snowfall in the mountainous areas.
The Pothohar region, Upper Punjab, Upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Gilgit-Baltistan, and Kashmir are particularly susceptible to thunderstorms and snowfall in the mountains, potentially impacting travel and local activities.
Friday’s forecast reveals a mix of weather patterns across various regions. Islamabad is anticipated to experience cold and dry weather with partly cloudy skies, while most districts in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa will encounter similar conditions.
However, areas like Mansehra, Abbottabad, and Balakot may witness strong winds and thunderstorms.
Moving towards Punjab, the majority of regions are expected to have cold and dry weather. Specific areas, including Narowal, Sialkot, Okara, Sahiwal, Gujranwala, Lahore, and others, might see light rain during the morning hours.
Furthermore, fog and smog are expected in several areas, potentially impacting visibility in the morning.
In Balochistan, dry and cold weather is predicted for most districts, while northern areas may experience lower temperatures. Furthermore, rain accompanied by strong winds, thunder, and snowfall is anticipated in the mountainous regions of Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan.
