LDA Launches Major Operation Against Illegal Housing Societies in Lahore

The Lahore Development Authority (LDA) has stepped up its efforts to stop illegitimate land subdivisions and house developments in Lahore. Over 12 illegal house projects and land subdivisions on Manhala Road and surrounding areas had their infrastructure dismantled by the LDA Private House Projects Directorate.

In the course of the operation, LDA teams demolished roads, offices, gates, sewerage systems, and other permanent structures owned by Al-Fatah Associate, Royal Palm Society, Hajveri Garden Phase Two, Al-Hamd Meadows, New Abadi Nathoki, Manhala Valley, Manhala Residencia, New Abadi Manhala, Al-Haram Meadows, and other similar establishments.

Under the direction of Asadullah Cheema, Director of Private Housing Schemes, the enforcement squad executed the operation with the support of law enforcement and heavy equipment. The continuation of these indiscriminate operations against unlawful housing plans and land subdivisions in Lahore has been ordered by LDA Director General Tahir Farooq.
