The State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) has announced that it will be closed from June 17th to 19th, 2024 (Monday to Wednesday), in observance of Eid ul Azha public holidays.
As a result, commercial banks across the country will also be closed on these dates, in addition to the regular weekend closures on Saturday and Sunday.
Earlier today, the Cabinet Division issued a notification declaring a five-day holiday for Eid ul Azha, accommodating offices with various working schedules.
The Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) will similarly remain closed for five days, spanning from Saturday, June 15th, to Wednesday, June 19th.
