As questions about the Pakistan Cricket Team’s finances arise, the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has released the monthly salary details for national squad members.
According to the PCB, Category A players receive a monthly salary of Rs4,500,000 (forty-five lacs), while Category B players earn Rs3,000,000 (thirty lacs) per month. The new contracts issued by the PCB have significantly increased salaries across all categories.

Babar Azam, Shaheen Afridi, and Muhammad Rizwan, classified under Category A, each earn a monthly salary of Rs4.5 million. Category B includes players like Shadab Khan, Fakhar Zaman, Haris Rauf, and Naseem Shah, who earn up to Rs 3 million per month.
For players in Categories C and D, the monthly salaries range from Rs750,000 to Rs1.5 million. Imad Wasim falls under Category C, while Iftikhar Ahmed, Hasan Ali, and Saim Ayub are in Category D.
Additionally, players receive fixed match fees and match awards for all three formats, further enhancing their overall earnings.
