Preparations are underway for a three-day official holiday on the occasion of Eid-ul-Azha in Pakistan, as the Cabinet Division has submitted a summary to Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif.
The proposal outlines granting Eid holidays from June 17 to 19. Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif is expected to give the final approval for the holiday schedule soon.
Once the summary is approved, federal government employees will benefit from a total of five consecutive days off, due to the inclusion of the weekly holidays on June 15 and 16.
This extended break aims to allow citizens to celebrate Eid-ul-Azha with their families and communities without the pressure of returning to work immediately.
Meanwhile, all private schools, universities, and nurseries in Dubai will be closed from Saturday, June 15, to Tuesday, June 18, for Eid-ul-Azha.
