A social media star was tragically killed in Karachi’s Sakhi Hasan Chowrangi area when a security guard opened fire on the TikToker for filming in public.
The incident occurred on Tuesday at a mobile market near Chowrangi in North Karachi. The security guard was shot dead, and CCTV footage of the incident quickly went viral on social media.
Initial reports indicated that the TikToker, identified as Sakhi Hassan, was filming a TikTok video at Serena Mobile Market near Chowrangi. The security guard approached Hassan, directing him to stop filming and leave the area.
Despite the guard’s warning, Hassan continued to record his video, which enraged the guard, leading him to open fire.
Police reported that the victim died instantly. The body has been transported to the hospital for post-mortem examination.
The shocking incident sparked widespread outrage, prompting the police to arrive at the scene, arrest the security guard, and transfer him to the police station for further investigation.
