Renowned television anchorperson Iqrarul Hassan and his team members sustained injuries after their vehicles were attacked by a group of individuals in Gujranwala.
Iqrar had arrived at a private university to attend a ceremony when the attackers struck, smashing his car windows.
Reports indicated that Hassan and his team members suffered minor injuries. The attackers were reportedly shouting slogans in favor of Pir Haq Khateeb, who had been exposed by the TV host in a recent program.
The group assaulted the TV anchor and his team’s vehicles with stones and sticks, causing damage and resulting in minor injuries to the team members.
