Pakistan’s white-ball captain, Babar Azam, expressed his team’s eagerness to maintain their momentum for the upcoming four-match T20I series against England.
In a video statement shared by the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) on social media, Azam highlighted the contributions of all-rounder Imad Wasim, stating, “Imad Wasim knows how to bowl during crucial moments.”
Azam noted that the senior bowlers had stepped up following the first T20I series against Ireland.
“We aim to play a strong brand of cricket in the upcoming series against England,” Azam remarked.
He also praised the batting skills of Iftikhar Ahmed and Azam Khan in the lower order.
“We’ve adopted a new strategy to address challenges, particularly in the first six and middle overs.”
“The batting lineup performed exceptionally well after the initial match against Ireland,” Azam added.
“Many positive developments occurred during the series against Ireland,” he concluded.
