Umm-e-Hani Reject National Women’s T20 Tournament due to Injury

Multan Women’s captain, Umm-e-Hani, has been forced to withdraw from the current National Women’s T20 Tournament taking place in Rawalpindi/Islamabad due to a thumb injury.

Umm-e-Hani, a seasoned player with 17 international matches for Pakistan women under her belt, suffered a hairline fracture in her left-hand thumb during the opening match against Lahore Women on January 15.

Umm-e-Hani has received a recommendation for a four-week rest. The selection committee has appointed Gull Feroza as the new captain for the remaining matches of the Multan Women’s team in the tournament.
