As the curtains fall on 2023 and the new year approaches, renowned actor and producer Fahad Mustafa prepares to make a spectacular return to the small screen.
The comeback vehicle? The highly anticipated drama serial, Teri Meri Kahani, where he will share the screen with the talented Hania Aamir. This marks Fahad’s return to drama series acting since Dusri Biwi in 2015, as he has predominantly focused on producing and hosting TV shows in recent years.
The announcement of this exciting new show was made by the esteemed Farhat Ishtiaq, the creative genius behind iconic dramas such as Humsafar and Bin Roye. Ishtiaq took to her official Instagram handle to share the exciting news, sending ripples of anticipation through fans eagerly awaiting the duo’s on-screen chemistry.
While this will be the first time Fahad and Hania share the screen as actors, Hania Aamir melted hearts in the widely acclaimed 2022-23 series Mujhe Pyaar Hua Tha, co-produced by Fahad Mustafa.
Fahad Mustafa had previously hinted at his return to acting during a recent appearance on Shoaib Akhtar’s talk show. In the interview, he praised Hania’s talent and hinted at an upcoming collaboration. Fahad cheekily teased,
We are doing something together. I don’t kiss and tell. Once it’s done and out, then we can talk about it. But yes, we are about to do something.
During the same talk show appearance in November, Fahad Mustafa stirred discussions when he expressed his disapproval of the rising trend of family-centric content, addressing the influx of content creators into the film and TV industry. He criticized the overuse of the term “content” in the country, stating, “There is no such content. Everyone is selling their families.”
Fahad compared the dedication of showbiz actors with content creators, emphasizing the long hours invested by actors in their craft.
