Controversial Indian producer and actor Kamaal Rashid Khan (KRK) has come under scrutiny after making disrespectful comments against Pakistani artist Omer Nadeem, who accused KRK of plagiarizing his 2009 track “Aye Khuda” in the recent song “Sun Zara” featuring Sonu Nigam.
T-Series released “Sun Zara,” a collaboration among Sonu Nigam, DJ Sherizwood, Nitish Chandra, and KRK. The song drew attention when Omer Nadeem shared a video highlighting the similarities between “Sun Zara” and his own composition, urging the makers to acknowledge the original work.
Sonu Nigam, the renowned Indian singer involved in the project, responded gracefully by admitting the resemblance between the two songs and extending an apology to Nadeem. Nigam emphasized that he had no knowledge of the similarities and would not have agreed to sing “Sun Zara” if he had heard “Aye Khuda” before.
In contrast, KRK took a confrontational stance, resorting to a disrespectful tweet where he referred to Omer Nadeem as a “flop, frustrated” singer engaging in “drama” for publicity. The tweet downplayed the accusations and denied any plagiarism.
In KRK’s tweet, he dismissed Nadeem’s accusations, stating,
This flop frustrated singer is doing this drama to get little publicity because he knows well that today, nobody can copy even a few seconds of any song, forget to copy the full song.
I came to know that Pakistani Singer Omer Nadeem is accusing me to copy his song. This flop frustrated singer is doing this drama to get little publicity. Because he knows well that today, nobody can copy even few seconds of any song, forget to copy full song.

The online community swiftly criticized KRK for his derogatory remarks and lack of acknowledgment. Internet users condemned his response, citing a lack of “integrity” compared to Sonu Nigam’s apology. Some users emphasized the undeniable similarities between the two songs and urged KRK to admit to the alleged copying.
