Reality TV star Kim Kardashian is set to showcase her acting chops once again, joining forces with Ryan Murphy for a new legal drama on Hulu.
Following her appearance in Season 12 of American Horror Story, Kim is diving into a new role as a successful divorce lawyer in the upcoming series, backed by a series commitment from Hulu.
In a strategic collaboration with the co-creator of American Horror Story, Ryan Murphy, Kim K will take on the character of a formidable divorce lawyer who spearheads an all-female law firm in the bustling city of Los Angeles. The legal drama is a significant addition to Hulu’s lineup, especially considering the platform also airs the reality series The Kardashians.
Jon Robin Baitz, the showrunner for Murphy’s upcoming Feud: Capote vs. the Swans, is set to write the series alongside Joseph Baken, a seasoned writer known for his contributions to the American Horror Story spinoff, American Horror Stories.
Baitz, acclaimed for creating Brothers & Sisters and developing The Slap, brings his wealth of experience to the legal drama. Baken, who wrote two episodes for the recent season of American Horror Stories, is no stranger to Murphy’s creative universe.
This exciting venture into the legal genre is not Kim Kardashian’s only project in the entertainment industry. The reality star is also working on a comedy film titled The Fifth Wheel, where she portrays the outsider in a group of four female friends. Netflix secured the rights to the film after a competitive bidding war in November.
