Interim Prime Minister Anwaar-ul-Haq Kakar undertook an emotional visit to the martyr’s memorial in Abu Dhabi on Tuesday, extending his heartfelt tribute to the United Arab Emirates’ (UAE) national heroes.

At the ‘Wahat Al Karama,’ a national and cultural monument symbolizing the refuge of dignity, Prime Minister Kakar laid a wreath to honor the brave Emiratis who sacrificed their lives in the line of duty.

During the visit, Sheikh Theyab bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Chairman of the Office of Development and Martyrs Families Affairs, provided PM Kakar with insights into the significance of the monument, portraying it as a symbol that intensely underscores the profound sacrifices made by the nation’s heroes.

Adding to the seriousness of the occasion, the prime minister was accorded a static guard of honor. The Monument itself is a striking composition of 31 panels leaning on each other, symbolizing the unity and solidarity shared among the UAE’s leadership, its people, and the brave soldiers who have defended the nation.

Following the wreath-laying ceremony, PM Kakar embarked on a comprehensive tour of the memorial, taking the opportunity to pen his reflections in the visitor book placed on the blessed places.

Wahat Al Karama stands as a testament to the heroic deeds of the UAE’s martyrs, commemorating their selfless sacrifices in defense of the nation. This somber visit by Prime Minister Kakar reaffirms the solid respect and gratitude for the national heroes who have played a pivotal role in shaping the UAE’s history.
