The 3C certification confirmed that the Redmi 13C will support up to 10W standard charging and will come with an MDY-09-EK power adapter. Moreover, the listing also affirmed the presence of 5G connectivity, adding to the smartphone’s appeal.
The Indian variant, identified by the model code 23124RN87I, has become known on the BIS certification website, while the global version with the model code 23124RN87G made its appearance in the IMEI database.
These developments have aroused global interest and heightened anticipation for the Redmi 13C’s imminent launch.
Rumors suggest that the Redmi 13C may be a rebrand of the Poco C65, and both devices are poised for launch in the near future.
In addition to the Redmi 13C 5G, a 4G variant with model codes 23100RN82L, 23108RN04Y, and 23106RN0DA is set to make its mark in China.
In terms of chipset, the Redmi 13C 5G is expected to impress with MediaTek’s Dimensity 6100 Plus, while the 4G variant and the Poco C65 may opt for the Helio G85 SoC. Design renders suggest that the Redmi 13C could feature a teardrop notch, a 50MP primary camera, and a USB Type-C port.
For display specifications, the Redmi 13C 4G variant appears to offer a 6.74-inch LCD with a 90Hz refresh rate.
