Britain’s King Charles has apparently further angered his daughter-in-law Meghan Markle with his latest sweet comments about Princess of Wales Kate Middleton in Kenya.
The king expressed his sincere feelings for Kate Middleton and Prince William during visit to Kenya.
Recalling Kate and William’s 2010 engagement, King Charles said, “It was here, in sight of Mount Kenya, that my son, the Prince of Wales, proposed to his wife, now my beloved daughter-in-law.”
The royal family also shared King Charles full speech on its official X, formerly Twitter handle:
“By addressing our history with honesty and openness we can, perhaps, demonstrate the strength of our friendship today. And, in so doing, we can, I hope, continue to build an ever-closer bond for the years ahead.”

Rumors have arisen that King Charles’ use of the term “my beloved daughter-in-law” to describe the future queen, Kate Middleton, may have caused discomfort or annoyance to his second daughter-in-law, Meghan Markle.
Meghan, along with her husband Prince Harry and their children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet, currently resides in California.
King Charles made this affectionate reference to Kate Middleton, who is married to his eldest son, Prince William, during the backdrop of an ongoing argument with his younger son, Prince Harry, and his wife, Meghan Markle.
