The actor made a long-awaited appearance at the IFP Festival Season 13, where he revealed his plans for a comeback.
Imran Khan, who had been dropping hints and igniting the curiosity of his fans regarding a possible return to the world of cinema, finally made it official during his appearance at the event.
While speaking at the IFP Festival Season 13, he shared his thoughts on the much-anticipated comeback and said,
“I don’t have a clear answer, but I am reading scripts and having creative conversations with filmmakers. So hopefully, next year.”
Imran Khan was once one of the most promising Bollywood actors in the industry. He is the nephew of Bollywood superstar Aamir Khan and filmmaker-producer Mansoor Khan.
Imran made his acting debut in Bollywood with the film Jaane Tu… Ya Jaane Na in 2008, which was a major success and earned him critical acclaim. He went on to act in several films, including I Hate Luv Storys, Delhi Belly, Mere Brother Ki Dulhan, and Ek Main Aur Ekk Tu. He gained recognition for his performances and was considered one of the promising young actors in Bollywood.
However, after a series of films that did not perform well at the box office, Imran Khan took a break from acting. His last film before the break was Katti Batti with Kangana Ranaut back in 2015.
It remains to be seen what projects are in the pipeline for Imran Khan. Stay posted for more updates.
