Xiaomi has officially launched its Xiaomi 13T series in the global market, featuring impressive camera capabilities and exceptional performance. What sets this year’s “Xiaomi T series” apart is the inclusion of a telephoto camera in both the standard and Pro models.
The Xiaomi 13T and Xiaomi 13T Pro come in three captivating color options:
- Meadow Green
- Alpine Blue
- Black
Both models claim IP68 certification for added durability and protection.
One of the standout features of this year’s Xiaomi 13T series is its flat display. The Xiaomi 13T is equipped with a 6.67-inch 1.5K 144 Hz OLED display, which not only offers a high refresh rate for smooth visuals but also claims a remarkable brightness of 2600 nits. This brightness level surpasses that of many flagship devices in 2023, ensuring excellent visibility in various lighting conditions.
The Xiaomi 13T is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8200-Ultra chipset, known for its reliable performance. The phone also features UFS 3.1 storage for swift data access and smooth multitasking.
Both the Xiaomi 13T and Xiaomi 13T Pro share the same impressive camera setup. The Xiaomi 13T sports a 50 MP Sony IMX 707 sensor as its primary camera, an 8 MP ultrawide-angle camera, and a 2x 50 MP telephoto camera.
While it utilizes the Sony IMX 707 sensor, it does not support 4K60 video recording but offers 4K30 video recording. The main camera benefits from optical image stabilization (OIS).
One remarkable addition to this year’s Xiaomi T series is the ability to set your own “photographic style.” This feature allows users to capture shots with predefined color tuning for a personalized touch. Additionally, portrait effects add a creative dimension to your photography.
In terms of battery life, the Xiaomi 13T packs a robust 5000 mAh battery, complemented by 67W fast charging, ensuring a quick recharge when needed.
The Xiaomi 13T series represents a significant improvement over its predecessor, offering a telephoto camera and an exceptionally bright display. These enhancements make it a compelling choice for customers seeking flagship-level features and performance.
Moving on to the Xiaomi 13T Pro, the primary differences lie in the chipset and battery. It features the MediaTek Dimensity 9200+ chipset, coupled with LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.0 storage, delivering superior performance compared to the standard Xiaomi 13T.
Both models come with a leather back, offering a touch of luxury and a premium feel. The Xiaomi 13T Pro claims the same 6.67-inch 144 Hz OLED display with 1.5K resolution and a peak brightness of 2600 nits.
Furthermore, the Xiaomi 13T Pro supports 10-bit LOG video recording, providing enhanced video capabilities. It also features a 5000 mAh battery, but with the added benefit of 120W fast charging, promising an impressive full charge in just 19 minutes.
